Reaching the World
If you and Toto aren’t in Kansas, we can still help! You can get direct access to one on one sessions with our expert trainers or enroll in our online Family Dog Manners class, working through our in-person group class curriculum virtually.
Many people are worried that online training will not get them the same results as in-person training. It’s true that we can’t train your dog for you from a distance. However, we have guided and coached many clients to meet their goals working with their own dogs through video lessons. So if the question is “can you fix my dog online?” the answer is “no!” But if the question is, “can I be successful training my dog with online training?” the answer is a resounding “yes!”

We begin with an orientation class the first class session. We’ll go in-depth on problem solving common dog issues, then introduce you to our fun training techniques. You’ll be able to ask all those burning questions you have about your dog’s behavior, and will complete this session confident that you are up to the challenge of living with a dog.
Next, you’ll work through six themed sessions with your dog.
You will learn focus exercises and a review of a basic positions (sit and down). Then, we’ll dive into our real world manners segments, weaving foundation obedience into specialized lessons that you can go back and apply right into your life.
For example, our Company’s Coming class will teach your dog to sit automatically for greetings whenever someone approaches, and our Family Picnic class teaches your dog to patiently stay with food nearby. Want the nitty gritty details? Click the tab to view the full curriculum below!

Video Lessons
Tell Me More!
$175/program
One of our lead trainers will consult with you via the online video conference tool Zoom and perform a professional assessment of the behavior issue you’re experiencing. This session takes about an hour. In most cases, we have time to begin coaching you and your dog right away and demonstrate a foundation training skill or behavior modification technique.
We offer a judgment-free environment and work collaboratively with owners to develop realistic behavior plans that you can follow to address your dog’s behavior. We can also help you make decisions on re-homing or euthanasia in severe cases.
What happens next?
After the consultation, you will receive a written follow-up on how to address the behavior issues. This will include action items you can start right away as well as recommendations for how to progress with further training. We also send videos, handouts, and links to online resources depending on the issue. Our goal is for you to feel fully supported and capable of moving forward.
In some cases, we may request video or veterinary oversight of the behavior issue. Please only take video if requested – don’t put anyone in a dangerous situation just for the camera!
We are very committed to your success.
We welcome follow-up by e-mail as you work through your program, and the package includes a second 30 minute video chat that we will schedule for 1-4 weeks after your initial session. Although we have excellent success with a single consult for some issues and owner/dog teams, please note that not all situations are suitable for a DIY program, and ongoing follow-up sessions may be recommended.
Can you guarantee you’ll fix this?
Actually, no. It is unethical for any trainer to give you a guarantee that your dog’s behavior issue will fully resolve. Some problems have biological components that may never fully resolve, and some issues have environmental components that preclude full resolution. If your dog suffers from fear or aggression in particular, he or she will require ongoing support and dedication from you to be successful.
We can guarantee that we’ll provide you with professional and empathetic assistance as we work through these challenges together.
$465/6 hour-long sessions
Yes, you can train your dog online! Our virtual sessions allow us to coach you one on one in real time as you work through training scenarios with your dog.
If your dog is suffering from serious or complex issues such as fear, anxiety, or human- or dog-directed aggression, please let us know during registration so that we can assign the appropriate trainer.
You don’t have to meet my dog to train him?
Nope! If we are problem solving, you’ll provide us detailed observations of your dog’s behavior, and we’ll ask a series of questions to hone in on the issue. Based on this information, we will explain what is happening, lay out your options, and make a recommendation on your course of action.
What do we get?
You’ll receive on the spot advice and training demonstrations. Our trainers are able to use their video library or their own dogs to demonstrate training techniques and can coach you on your technique by watching you practice on camera.
If needed, we’ll send a follow-up email with additional handouts or video links.
You can train anything online??
The only behavior we do not recommend for online sessions is leash walking. This skill can make video coaching logistically difficult. Please see our in-person packages or online course for leash walking skills.
$40/30 minutes
If you are seeking advice on re-homing, just want to run your dog’s issue by a professional, need basic tips on a behavior problem, or are on a limited budget, we offer a trainer chat option.
What can we get done?
This focused 30-minute session will allow us to assess a single issue your dog is having and help you determine your next steps forward. This is an excellent option if you are feeling like “I just need to TALK to someone who knows what they are doing!”
Where will we end up?
In some cases we are able to provide all the advice you need to be successful with your dog and achieve your very end goal! In other cases we are able to explain the options you have and what following each path would imply. In some cases we are able to make referrals to a medical professional or provide immediate suggestions to change your home environment to prevent unsafe situations. And of course, we may recommend additional training – but now you’ll know exactly what to expect and how it works.
No matter where your situation ends up, we are confident that after your chat, you will be more knowledgeable about what is going on and able to make the best possible decisions for your dog.
